When she was younger, Iris was somewhat of a pariah in her town. Raised in the suburbs, in a community where everyone was skinny and perfect - almost boringly normal, she was heavier than what was the norm and she was also diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia, placing a huge target on her back. She was bullied throughout elementary school and middle school and refrained from telling her father because she didn't want to inform him that his daughter was officially a loser.

The summer before freshman year in high school, Iris gained an abrupt interest in sports and exercise. At the same time, she also hit a small growth spurt. These two things combined helped her lose to excess weight and slim down - although the sudden change did lead to some scars. For the two years that Iris was at public high school, she was left alone for the most part. Even so, she didn't suddenly become popular. She held back and was largely antisocial due to her new found disdain for other people.

appearance Iris is 5'5" and has a slim but toned build. Her skin is the pinkish pale associated with the sort of skin type that has a tendency to burn rather than tan after staying in the sun for too long. She has wavy golden blonde hair that ends around her hips, with slightly overgrown side-swept bangs. Iris has striking bright blue eyes that are often cold. There's usually some sort of snide or condescending look on her face.

Rather than having epic battle scars, Iris has pale stretch marks on her upper arms and her thighs, causing her to avoid wearing shorts and tank tops/t-shirts. Despite these restrictions, Iris is still quite a bit of a fashionista, though not the kind that enjoys brands that are too expensive. She's a huge fan of accessorizing and rarely goes out without an ornament or two.

Competitive: She's competitive in a quiet way. She will rarely openly show that is jealous of another person, but she is bothered when other people seem to best her, often training hard by herself in order to improve. Iris is hard on herself when it comes to training and improving, she pushes herself to her very limits.

Cruel: Due to a history of being the one who was constantly pushed around and tormented, she finds satisfaction is seeing other people squirm. She will often go out of her way to ruin someone's day. Any nice deed that she may do has an ulterior motive behind it.

Deceptive: Lies slide off her tongue as easily as the lies of a lawyer. Iris isn't above lying and telling people what they want to hear in order to get her way.

Detached: She tries to remain aloof and uncaring for the most part, but she can't help but care, even though she desperately wanted to ignore everyone else and just watch out for herself all the the time. Iris will go to the aid of anyone who genuinely needs her help.

Distrustful: She has extremely low opinions of even strangers, Iris trusts no one but herself.

Hostile: Derisive and cynical, she will often be rude and offensive and cares little for what others may think of it or their feelings.

Independent: She is largely independent, rarely accepting the help of anybody else. Anybody who tries to help her do anything clearly expects something from her. The concept of generosity is never considered.

Solitary: A lone wolf, she has very few friends if any and often uses and mistreats those friends to her leisure. She prefers not to have any friends, regarding them as impractical and undependable.
