to be or not to be that is the question hamlet by william shakespeare act iii scene i [Only admins are allowed to see this link] there was a crooked man full name Conrad Klaus Cox nicknames Con d.o.b. November 13 age 17 gender M
time at camp 2 months cohort 2 rank Probatio
godly parent Fortuna, Roman goddess of fortune and fate claim history Claimed as of his 3rd afternoon at camp mortal family Sean Cox, Con's father, owner of a small publishing company and writer of several moderately successful adventure and general fiction novels. Evelyn Norewood, his step-mother, a relaxed and thoughtful woman who often also displayed a fun and childish side, a graphic artist.
history Con has always been an average guy. He managed to be a pretty happy and care-free kid, never taking things too seriously and always laughing. Growing up, he played a lot of video games and watched a lot of TV. That didn't mean he never left the house, however. While he wasn't particularly popular, he wasn't any sort of loner either. Con was always the kind of person who got along with a lot of people, be it friends, teachers, or his school bus driver. He was also the kind of guy who enjoyed sports, he played on the soccer team and joined the cross-country team every year in high school until he left for Camp Jupiter. His grades weren't anything special, him being Dyslexic and all.
His father and him didn't have the greatest relationship at all. Whenever his father was home, Con usually found excuses to get out of the house. On the odd occasion that he did stay, he and his father always managed to fight. Sean would stay downstairs so he and Evelyn could talk and Con ended up going upstairs to stay in his room for the rest of the evening, playing video games on the TV in his room. His home never felt like home to him. His father one day told him who his mother really was and what he had to do, and even though Con thought he was crazy, he was secretly glad to leave.
appearance Con is a tall and wiry guy, standing at 5'11" and having lean and toned but not particularly prominent muscles from playing soccer. He has somewhat long, slightly spiky blonde hair and amber eyes. Despite spending most of his time outdoors, he has pale skin with the occasional pimple - which he often parades about proudly rather than be ashamed of - but not serious acne and also no sign of the stubble on his chin that would showcase his immense manliness. His facial structure is composed of sharp angles and he has slightly prominent veins in his arms and hands - although not quite in the sort of "WHOA DUDE, I THINK YOUR VEINS ARE GOING TO POP" way.
When it comes to clothing, Con opts for graphic tees, ranging from characters from video games, to dramatic song lyrics, to the faces of various celebrities. For sweaters, he goes for the bright colours, never really having hit the grunge stage where all he wants is to wear black. He wears regular jeans and is firm in his refusal to wear skinny jeans or low ride. The two reasons he provides are because A) He is not a member of a boy band with a fabulous butt and B) He has a belt and he knows how to properly use it.
He also has a tendency to wear a lot of hats. They can be regular hats, like baseball caps, fedoras, or toques, or they can be some of the most wacky things you will ever see perched atop a guy's head. Con is not afraid to be outrageous or make a statement, if you ever wanted someone to participate in protest art, he would be your man. He's fairly secure in his own body and is comfortable wearing just about anything. He wears a lightweight brass medallion on a leather cord around his neck.
archetype Adventurer personality Confident: He is very confident and self-assured, rarely getting too embarrassed by anything he does or anything that happens to him. Being the class clown type, he likes to make other people laugh and smile, often at his own expense.
Daredevil: He clearly believes the idea that he in not invincible is just unthinkable. He acts in ways that other people might think of as completely crazy, but there usually is some sort of train of thought behind his actions - although they tend to be very small.
Energetic: From the moment that he wakes up right until he conks out.
Idealist: A bit impractical at times, Con finds it difficult to face the facts sometimes and realize the gravity of certain situations. He tends to look at the glass as half-full and denies it when someone points out that it's empty.
Intrepid: Adventure is an extremely appealing concept to Con. He likes to be moving constantly and finds it difficult to settle down for too long.
Loyal: He stays loyal to friends but doesn't take too kindly to betrayal. Somewhat of an unforgiving individual, he isn't too tolerant of other people failing to be there for him or proving themselves to be undependable or liars.
Reckless: He can be careless and often doesn't take into account all the factors or consider all the possibilities when making decisions. While he isn't an idiot, he isn't any kind of genius either.
Teasing: He likes to tease people, even strangers to him if he thinks that they wouldn't mind it. Because of this, Con is quick to make friends because he's so comfortable around everyone.
hamartia recklessness, inability to recognize limitations
